I just noticed an issue when upgrading from 1.9.5->1.9.6 using the RPM. When doing rpm -UVH, /opt/zenoss/bin/zensocket gets created correctly as suid root. However, when zenoss is started the first time with the /etc/init.d/zenoss script and the update is run, the file is changed to being owned by the zenoss user with mode 776 and zensocket fails to start.
Stopping zenoss and correcting the owner and permissions on zensocket allow it to start up successfully. _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
