Thanks Joe... I added the temp monitor for my netbotz this way, but the
problem that I am having is that some of my dell servers have 4
temperature sensors and others have up to 8. Likewise when it comes to
monitoring fan RPM some have 6 and others 8 or more. So the problem that
I run into is that I would have to have a different device class for
each type of hardware. I thought that it might make more sense to write
a datacollector plugin and perfsnmp monitor which would monitor the
appropriate temperature and fan speeds.

I do not think you need a plug-in. Have you tried to load the Dell
Poweredge MIB files and do a snmpwalk to find the temp.
