At this point, I don't even know how to troubleshoot the issue. Can I get detailed docs on how zenoss performs data collection? As near as I can tell from the docs/messing with it, zenoss:
-goes through the list of devices, checking the zproperties that say which plugins to use/ignore (these are regular expressions, where does zenoss get the list of all avaliable plugins to compare them to?) -the various daemons (zenPerfSnmp, zenCommand, ZenXmlRpc) each run their own checks, these are written to RRD databases on disk somewhere -graphs define whech RRDs to use when generating graphs and how to render them How do Data Points fit into this exactly?
