I've been reading every document I can find on Zenoss to try and figure out why my services are not updating properly. I am running Zenoss on Ubuntu feisty and trying to monitor our windows servers. The issue I keep running into is that I want to monitor services and they only update once a day when the zenmonitor remodels the device. I have checked the zenprocess daemon and it always reports INFO zen.zenprocess: Pulled process status for 0 devices and 0 processes. From what I have read I believe that zenprocess is supposed to be responsible for checking the status of services every minute. I don't understand why this isn't happening. I have double checked and I can query snmp on the server, and the devices remodel correctly once a day. Could someone please point me in the right direction. I'm getting very frustrated.
