I have the same problem, where the service / machine goes down, zenoss
marks it down, it comes back up and zenoss doesn't notice until hours
later. If I run zenstatus manually (zenstatus run) it correctly notices
the machine as up, but when the daemonized zenstatus runs the next time,
it's marked as down again.
Makes it quite useless for me at the moment.
