There has previously been posts to the forums regarding server performance related to zenperfsnmp and the number of .rrd files but I'm now trying to determine if there is a similar way to determine server sizing/performance when syslog type events are thrown into the mix.
We have a fairly large syslog stream and are looking at Splunk as a solution but I think Zenoss can fill this need as well and the fewer tools I need to implement the better. Can anyone suggest performance modeling related to receiving syslog events within Zenoss? ------------------------ Chris V -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=6863#6863 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
