In this case, since you haven't stated the need to perform any math on the
input, the DEF definition is probably appropriate. So..

DEF:var_name_1=some.rrd:ds_name:CF

most likely becomes

DEF:anpi=www.anpisolutions.com_time:time:AVERAGE
DEF:google=google=www.google.com_time:time:AVERAGE
LINE1:anpiResponseTime#336699:anpi
LINE2:googleResponseTime#00ff00:google

I am guessing that the ds_name will be time. I need to dig a bit further
to verify that is the case.
