from what I understand you can override the perfconf for a set of devices. For instance in my setup I have a bunch of APs so moved them into their own class and if you go to Devices -> Classes -> the specific class your devices are in and click on the PerfConf tab Add a new Performance Template called Device (one should already exist with this name). This new Device Peformance Template will override the default Device one (it should have a checkbox next to it now). then if you click on it you can add your data sources and graphs. Then any device you put in that class will inherit those perf properties ie. graphs.
