I have a windows Active Directory Controller that keeps erroring when looking up the SNMP Informant values. First to clarify, SNMP Informant IS installed on this server and has been removed and re-installed. Shortly after rebooting or stopping and starting the SNMP process, zenoss is able to collect all SNMP Informant values, but normally within an hour of sucessfully collecting the values, one of the values (memoryAvailableKBytes) begins to fail. Over time, the remaining two will fail as well. Strangely, I must do a complete stop and start of the SNMP process, restarting the process does NOT fix the issue.
When the error occurs, if I manually snmpget the OID as the zenoss user, I recieve the following error: Error in packet Reason: (genError) A general failure occured Failed object: SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.9600.1.1.2.10.0 The windows event log has a corresponding error: SNMP Informant Standard OID = .1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.2.10.0 Error = 800007d1 Description = The specified instance is not present.
