I posted to the dev list and found that the behavior from 1.2 to 2.0 has
changed. You will need to create a new performance template called
propVirtual under the /Devices/Network device class. If you leave this
empty the virtual interfaces will no longer have any OIDs monitored. I
found that in order for zenoss to pick up the change I had to restart
zenoss...

Unfortunately in my case we're talking about nearly a hundred VLAN
interfaces - many of which I have absolutely no interest in monitoring -
they don't even have IP addresses allocated to them - the routing
happens on another device.  Some of them I would be interested in
tracking from a bandwidth point of view.  Is there a way to override or
edit the speed calculated by the collector in these cases?
