I am having the same issue when using the 2.0 virtual appliance. Only things I have changed from the defaults is I set a static IP and modified the hosts file to reflect the name of the machine I want to use. If I add the device without SNMP it adds to the device list just fine. When I click on the device and do Manage->Model Device I get the following error Code: [Failure instance: Traceback (failure with no frames): pynetsnmp.netsnmp.SnmpError: snmp_send ]
.
