I can see in the eventlog that IP's are found and under the subnetwork section that IP's
are found and that they are pinged but there are no device found on the IP's. And the
found "things" don't show i neither the /discovered class or in the device list.

Is there any way I set a snmt community name on a subnetwork before I do a
discovery.
You should be able to add the network, then go to zProperties of that
network and add the name to the snmp community strings field.
