It seems that I have got the same problem. Zenoss was working fine for more 
than 2 weeks, but since friday 22 june I cannot access the login screen.

Look for a cause and came up with the same conclusion as you. The port 8080  
seems to disapeare afterr trying to access the login screen. The zopectl deamon 
dies as well.

Has anyone got an idea how to fix this?
