All,

Good afternoon and I hope all is well. I have used Zenoss before and attemting
to set up Zenoss Core 2.0 up on an Ubuntu server. The installation has gone
well and I am able to add devices, monitor and get performance stats etc. My
problem is with monitoring bandwidth of a Cisco Catalyst 3560G. I know that I
need to use SNMP v2 to get the data via 64 Bit counters however Zenoss will
only use the v1 32 Bit counters which puts the bandwidth useage down by about
50%.

i have tried to bind the template (ethernetCsmacd_64) to the interface but this
freezes the screen after clicking OK.

I have removed and recreated the RRD files etc however no matter what I change
(zProperties etc) it always reverts back to using v1 32-Bit. I can monitor
through PRTG on V2c and get the correct stats reporting back but I would much
rather use Zenoss with it covering additional aspects of the network (servers,
printers etc).

Can anyone assist and point me in the correct direction for getting Zenoss to
see my Cisco units via SNMP v2c?

Many thanks

Mark
