Yes...I am trying to monitor a few windows machines as a test. One of them is a 2003 server and the other two are 2000 servers.
SNMP-Informant is installed. The snmpwalk command outputs lots of data from the zenoss machine. I added the following reg key into the windows servers: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINES \Software \Microsoft \Rpc \Internet String: PortsInternetAvailable Type: REG_SZ Setting:"Y" String: UseInternetPorts Type: REG_SZ Setting: "Y" ****question....do I need the quotes around the Y for the setting? Should it look like this..."Y" or just like this.... Y ....for the settings on those registry values? The wbemtest works fine. The zProperties page has been edited so that the zWinUser and zWinPassword match the domain admin user that was used for the wbemtest. -The zWinEventlogMinSeverity has been changed to a value of 5. -I also when through this procedure to make sure DCOM and the proper services were running http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/faqs/howtos/guide-to-setting-up-zenwin ....still nothing coming up for the event logs or the performance. ------------------------ Matt Colburn -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=8011#8011 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
