It's good to hear that this solved your problem.

I'm still seeing the problem, albeit less frequently (once or twice a day 
instead of almost hourly). Debugging indicates that the process list obtained 
via SNMP is sometimes not complete, no idea why. This time it appears to be a 
bug in SNMP, not Zenoss :(.

Anyway, since the problem is intermittent, I just set a delay on email 
notifications. The events always clear on the next SNMP run, so email 
notification works without false alarms.
