I used zenoss-2.0.0-0.el4.i386.rpm for SUSE 10; a little troubleshooting during the install, but i got it to work. install with nodeps flag and create a link to /etc/init.d directory. Then use chkconfig to add zenoss during bootup, though you might want to edit the start and kill links because it defaults to start before most other services and kills last.
I got zeoctl and zopectl errors when first initialized, solved this by doing a re-install w/o a root password in mysql. After zenoss started and looked fine, i then set the root password for mysql. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=8183#8183 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
