To get an idea of how our servers are performing, I'd like to monitor their harddisk IO performance. Something along the lines of how much data is being read/written per second, similar to the CPU stats.
It would be nice to get something like what sar ( see http://perso.wanadoo.fr/sebastien.godard/ ) provides: Code: 00:00:02 DEV tps rd_sec/s wr_sec/s 00:10:01 dev104-0 18,92 303,87 422,61 00:10:01 dev104-16 0,00 0,00 0,00 00:10:01 dev105-0 153,21 19090,90 2128,14 00:10:01 dev105-16 177,81 1216,07 5132,49 00:10:01 dev105-32 0,44 0,03 6,21 00:10:01 dev105-48 5,14 0,04 755,00 so I could graph & threshold IO performance. Is there a way to do this?
------------------------ Sebastian Leske -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=8338#8338 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
