Zenoss is trying to monitor itself, but it can't contact itself. "symsol" is
the box you installed Zenoss on.

I saw this recently with an install where I changed the hostname after doing
the install. My event browser showed heartbeat failures for "new-host-2". That
was the dhcp name given to the appliance when it first came up. Anyway,
new-host-2 wasn't in the gui anywhere by name or ip. Since this was early in
the testing, I just wiped Zenoss and re-installed. I'm sure there is a hostname
change procedure somewhere, but if you are just getting started don't change
the hostname after the install.

If you are using the vmware appliance, you'll see this behavior if you switch
from bridge to NAT after Zenoss has been installed.
