I do have a solaris machine which responds on an snmpwalk with: HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSWRunIndex.2720137732 = INTEGER: 1862271492 HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSWRunIndex.2720137732 = INTEGER: 1862271492 Error: OID not increasing: HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSWRunIndex.2720137732 >= HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSWRunIndex.2720137732
That's fpr sure a problem of the snmp-config of this maschine. But: the zenmodeler stops on this and seems to wait for ever: zenmodeler run -v10 . . DEBUG:zen.SnmpClient:running <zenoss.snmp.HRSWRunMap.HRSWRunMap instance at 0xb6cdb92c> DEBUG:zen.SnmpClient:sending queries for plugin zenoss.snmp.HRSWRunMap After 45 minutes I did a ctrl-c. snmpwalk returns. On the same zenoss machine also the snmpdaemon "locks up" I think every 12h - havn't checked this in detail. I think there are two bugs: - one in the solaris machine with the snmp config and - one in zenoss (should'nt wait forever) ------------------------ Christian Brem -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=8658#8658 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
