The email alerts are not working. I am not using admin user and my rule is simple severity > info eventstate = new zenactions.log: 2007-07-11 15:54:48 INFO zen.ZenActions: processed 1 rules in 0.44 secs 2007-07-11 15:55:48 INFO zen.ZenActions: Processed 0 commands in 0.000075 2007-07-11 15:55:48 INFO zen.ZenActions: failed to send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [zenoss] machine.name.com snmp agent down on device machine.name.com socket.sslerror - (8, 'EOF occurred in violation of protocol') Any ideas what might be the reason? I read that this should not prevent email from being sent, it`s a message of ungracefully shut connection. Test email to this account is getting through so smtp is configured correctly.
