I kind of understand what your saying, but it is still a little confusing as to what i should do to assure the graph shows MAX instead of AVG when two samples overlap in the graph. I use a 5 minute cycle on all of my data_sources, and all the RRA commands in the performance monitor are the defaults. I tried adding a RRA command in the Custom area for the graph but broke the graph everytime so it would not display.
Should i edit the RRA commands in the performance monitor? I dont want to effect all of the devices i am monitoring, just certain graphs. Thanks for taking the time to understand and explain this.
