I have a similar problem with a Netgear GS716T switch on Zenoss 2.0.2. There is 
a constant stream of error events "snmp agent down on device GS716T", even 
though all relevant SNMP data seems to be collected correctly as far as I can 
see. 

Decreasing zMaxOIDPerRequest and increasing zSnmpTimeout or zSnmpTries does not 
help, neither does deleting and re-creating of the device.
