If you have installed ZenOSS 2.0.3, it's quite easy.
1. Add a windows server if you haven't already - make sure when adding
the device to select /Server/Windows
2. Click on Device List under Main Views from the dashboard.
3. Under the class column, click /Server/Windows.
4. Click the zProperties tab, scroll down and enter under zWinPassword
and zWinUser user credentials with admin rights on the machines you want
to monitor. I use a Domain Admin account created for this.
5. Wait ~ 30 minutes and you should see windows services as an area
under the device/OS tab. You will have to uncheck the monitored box to
see all the services.
6. Then just click on the services you want to monitor and turn monitor
to true.

Can anyone tell me how to set up zenoss to monitor windows services. I have
already installed the free version of SNMP informant and can see the CPU, RAM,
HDD, and NIC performace but now need to take it one step further but not
getting very far.
Can anyone help? :D
