Thanks for the information. Oh yes, network configuration was incomplete. I fixed it ... but the zopectl never start (even after giving a PID) and the 8080 port never is available.
Many other ports work without problems. Even, configured machines are sending snmp information to the machine ... So, I will discard the Virtual Machine and proceed with a fresh install in a plain Fedora Core 6 Linux.
