Seems as though there are a number of things that could be interest, but I'm just interested in the standard health of the system. I was wondering what other people's syslog.conf's look like or what logs they feel are important.
Right now I am forwarding: user.* auth.* kern.* I figure this would tell me if there were any major problems or break in attempts, but I'm also new to some of this stuff. The other thing I'm looking for would be drive errors, trying to find those darn things before they die.
