I am running ZenOSS 2.0.3 in the VM. It's at least mostly right, because when I add Cisco Devices they report correctly.
I have a Windows 2003 Server not running SNMP (because I want to only run WMI). I Add Device with : Device name: the FQDN (server.domain.com) Device Class Path: /Server/Windows Discovery Protocol: None (since when I select SNMP it doesn't add) the device adds. Then I select the device from the Device List, and set: More > zProperties zWinPassword: mypassword zWinUser: Domain\mydomainadminaccount zWmiMonitorIgnore is set to False (by default, because of the Device Class Path) However, when I select More > Model Device, the log reports that's it's running the SNMP colelctcion device (why I don't know, I didn't select SNMP), that that nor surprisingly it can't talk to the device on SNMP. But I nee no mention in the log of WMI What's wrong?
