I am having the same problem. The python version on the appliance is 2.4.1-20.10-1. 'conary update python' says no new troves but if I do 'conary rq python' it lists 2.4.4-22.2 along with the one I have installed. If I try 'conary update [full python2.4.4 path]' it errors out with a dependency not able to be resolved. One of the entries in the Zenoss release notes states that a workaround was implemented for this problem with python versions below 2.4.3. Can we reapply the workaround? Or do we need to force an update of python version? Or what else can we do? Thanks.
