Recently installed Zenoss 2.0.3 for the first time. Coming in with a good bit of experience with Nagios and Cacti but looking to replace some of our Nagios implementation with Zenoss and SNMPtraps.
SNMPtraps are coming across just fine but I would like to display them with more details in the summary. Right now a typical summary is: "snmp trap cerent454V2Events from COLO4_2" What I would like to do is pull more information from the trap. Here are the trap details. Field Value 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.100.134217728.3470 FAN 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.20.134217728.3470 90 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.30.134217728.3470 0 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.40.134217728.3470 1 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.50.134217728.3470 0 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.60.134217728.3470 0 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.80.134217728.3470 100 cerentNodeTime 20070806093712D >From this I would like to do a regex on 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.100 >to pull the item description of "FAN" and the a regex on >1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.80 to pull a status of "100" are replace that >with the text based description of "criticalServiceAffecting" . Making the >summary look like: Fan Alarm criticalServiceAffecting from COLO4_2. There are over 200 different devices all with different ifIndex's so regexing on the full OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.3607.6.10.20.30.20.1.80.134217728.3470 to get status is out of the question. Can someone point me in the right direction or tell me if this is even possible.
