So after "powering on" the virtual machine, Zenoss is grabbing the IP address http://XXX.XXX.XXX.75:8080/ for its management console. The problem is that is the address of a user's workstation on our network. So then, instead of saying "local host login:" it says "UserWorkstation_01 login:". I'm not sure if this is a bad thing or not really. After typing root I can log in to the console from Firefox with that IP address. It just seems wrong. Can anyone tell me anything about this?
Its a brand new Zenoss running on a brand new VMWare Server, running on a fresh install of Windows Server 2003. Everything should be updated properly. ------------------------ Jeff Porter -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=9607#9607 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
