Our /home is NFS mounted, therefore I can't really create a new / home/zenoss at installation time. Is there a method for specifying an alternative path for zenoss to use? I searched the forums for keyword 'home' -- nothing.

Short of a local directory I suppose creating a real NIS account "zenoss" is in order, hmmm?

Steve,

It depends on what installation method you are using. If you're doing an RPM install, you should probably just grab the SRPM and modify the adduser command in the spec file to put the home directory wherever you please.
