Wondering if anybody else is seeing this same behaviour..
We have 2 users in Zenoss setup for alerting to send pages to (SNPP out of
zenoss -> sendpage on localhost -> dialup modem to cell phone carrior via TAP
-> SMS text to cell phone).
We want the alerting schedule to alternate each week ie.:
Week # On Call
Person A Person B
1 X
2 X
3 X
4 X
etc.
Thought this would be fairly easy to do with Zenoss since it supports alerting
schedules and has options to repeat the schedules.
What we thought we would do is create a schedule which beings on any given
friday at noon, has a duration set to 7 "days" 1 "hour", and has "repeat" set
to weekly, and "every" to 2.
Then for the other person set the same thing, except have it start on the next
Friday.
Which all seems to make sense to me, except Zenoss is absolutly refusing us to
set "Every" to 2. We can change the value, but as soon as you click "save" the
number ALWAYS reverts back to 1. For the life of me I can;t figure out why.
Has anybody else had any luck with repeating alert schedules?
