I am running 2.0.3 and when I do the delete the windows service from the
machine it stays gone until the zenoss processes get restarted when it gets
rediscovered. This only happens to services that are discovered by zenoss when
you turn monitoring on globally for a particular windows service. If you
specifically add a service to a machine then those will stay gone which is what
i think the delete winservice option is for. If you didn't manually add the
service to the machine, deleting it will only allow it to be rediscovered again
later. I hope that makes sense. This is how it has worked for me. Not sure if
that is the correct functionality or not.[/quote]
