I have recently install zenoss 2 and unlike the 1.xx version this one just will
not send the email alerts when a server or switch is down. down hard.
BTW.. test messages work.
I have done the following setup
1. Create a user. role zen monitor
2. Add a device
3. Add the device to the administered objects of the user i created.
4. set up and email alert.
Delay = 1
enabled = true
type = email
production state = production
Serverity >= Warning
event state = new
What am i missing? Pleae advise
