ok I solved my problem. What I did:
- I have patched netsnmp.py as mentioned in this post:
http://lists.zenoss.org/pipermail/zenoss-dev/2007/000543.html
- I have installed the following packages with apt:
* libsnmp-base
* libsnmp9
* libsnmp9-dev
- I restarted the zenoss daemon
And it woks :)
