Hi everybody, Suddenly, SNMP informant has stopped to work on a Windows 2000 machine...have two event log entries:
Code: The description for Event ID ( 1 ) in Source ( SNMP Informant ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: SNMP Informant Standard OID = .1.3.6.1.4.1.9600.1.1.2.10.0 Error = c0000bb9 Description = The specified counter could not be found. Help Context = c0000bb9 Source = PDH_CSTATUS_NO_COUNTER. And Code: The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( SNMP Informant ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: SNMP Informant Standard SNMP agent stopped. QUite honestly, no idea on which the problem is...it works on Windows 2003 SP2 servers.
