I want to run SNMP Informant on my workstation and mobile user machine in order to have a record of installed applications and performance data.
What would be the best method for transporting this information back to my Zenoss machine? A requirement is that data going over a WAN/Internet link be encrypted (IPSec, SSH or SSL). I understand that I will have to open up a port on my datacenter firewall to allow incoming traffic.
