Did you follow the requirements listed here (http://www.zenoss.com/community/docs/install-guides/install-from-source/)?
What you need to do though is to build and install the right version of Python from source. The Python packages that come with SuSE don't work for some reason. When you have built Python from source, make sure that when the zenoss user points to the built-from-source version of Python. Note: the built from source python gets installed in /usr/local/bin by default, so you do not need to uninstall the standard SuSE supplied Python packages (which are in /usr/bin). Hope this helps. -------------------- m2f -------------------- Read this topic online here: http://community.zenoss.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=10686#10686 -------------------- m2f -------------------- _______________________________________________ zenoss-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.zenoss.org/mailman/listinfo/zenoss-users
