Thanks for the info, the Administered objects had me confused because the way I read the users-guide, it makes it seem like it can be used for alerting.
As far as getting alerts for the Ack'd events, I can't seem to get this to work. My alerting rules are very simple for my account since I'm a global admin for our environment, so I have: Production State = Production Severity >= Warning Event State = New I'm assuming Event State is what you are referring to? I even tried lowering it to >=ack'd, but I still don't get any emails when an event gets ack'd. Could there be anything else I may be missing? I am running v. 2.0.4 on this particular server that I'm testing this on, was this feature introduced in a .5 or .6?
