I have a user setup in Zenoss and the test email comes through with no problem however a status alert does not and the following shows in the log:
Code: 2007-09-20 21:15:42 INFO zen.ZenActions: failed to send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [zenoss] hostnamehere IP Service smtp is down socket.gaierror - (-3, 'Temporary failure in name resolution') I've searched the forums and Google and I've seen other people with this issue but haven't yet came across a solution. Does anyone know?
