[quote="ian"]The location's address just needs to be something that Google Maps

knows how to put on a map. Toronto, Ontario, Canada should work just
fine.

The confusing part is this: the "Map" tab doesn't show the /current/
Location, but instead its immediate children. This makes sense when
you think about it, since otherwise each map would have a single dot,
which isn't very useful.

Try assigning addresses to your locations, then hitting the Map tab
on the root /Locations object. Once you have devices in those
locations, the color of the dots will change to reflect the aggregate
status of those devices.

Docs are coming soon.

Still doesn't work. When I open the map tab at the /Location object I see the
world. I even tried different cities in the US. Still nothing. I noticed when I
in the Main View/Dashboard, I see in the browser status bar transfering data
from maps.google.com to my servername over and over again likes it's in a
loop. I wonder if the problem lies with the fact that I used a FQDN when I
register for the Google API key and my server is not it's not a public
ipaddress.

Any thoughts.
