I altered the dnsmonitor zenpack to be able to use check_ntp instead. I made all the modifications needed such as renaming variables, changing the event class, removing the expected ip address and dns server from the script/template. I then renamed time to offset to grab the value from check_ntp. Unfortunately, after I install my modified zenpack, and add it to a template, I do not see my datapoint named offset in my data source. I am completely befuddled as to what the problem is. The zenpack is not generating any sort of error or warning.
