Right now I have some trouble with ip -> device mapping.

Instead of discovering a device automatically I added it manually using the add
device button. At this time I keyed in the ip address. After modeling, the
device is properly shown with its hostname.

Current issue:
(Syslog)Events coming in will not show the device name, but the ip address
instead. It seems that the ip-address is somewhere stored as alternative device
id.

After testing around a little bit with events I found this in the logfile of
zensyslog:

...
Found device=172.16.8.244
...

other entries show something like this:

...
looking up ip 172.16.8.243
ip 172.16.8.243 -> testserver
Found device= testserver
...

I am guessing because initially I entered the ip address it is somehow still
stored as duplicated device name. On the other hand I just tried to run
zenperfsnmp -d ip but it cannot fetch the configs.

Does anyone know how to remove this or whats happening?
I already removed the device and discovered it again automatically, but this
didn't work. I assume deleting all device related files in the zenoss directory
could do the job, but maybe there is an easier way to update the device details.

Help is much appreciated.
