Hello everybody,

This issue still persists for me, however, it seems to be the case on Solaris
boxes only. I made a common monitoring class for Linux and Solaris servers,
with processes like syslogd, cron, and so on.
The monitored servers run Net-SNMP 5.4 compiled from source with the same
configuration options.
Only for the Solaris servers I get 'process up/down' notifications at an
average interval of 1 minute.

I made a little script running in a loop every 30 seconds and doing an snmpwalk
of the following SNMP entries: HOST-RESOURCES-MIB::hrSWRunName

In the result I see that the process is present all the time, with the same
OID, as it contains the PID!

Could this be an index issue? Somehow I don't get it.

Thanks for any help.
