Hi,

We've added devices running MySQL to Zenoss and modeled them using SNMP.
Everything shows up correctly and monitoring appears to work fine. However,
after a while the monitoring host can no longer make successful connections to
the MySQL server because it is being blocked after reaching the value of
"max_connect_errors" (defaults to 10).

I'm guessing that Zenoss is just doing a TCP connect to port 3306 and then
dropping the connection. Is there a way to monitor MySQL servers in a more
graceful fashion?

Zenoss version is 2.0.6. Please let me know if any further information is
required. Thank you.
