What you need to do is add the user that Zenoss will be logging in with to the
"Logon as a Service" policy. If this is on a domain controller open "Domain
Controller Security Policy" under "Administrative Tools", expand "Local
Policies", then click "User Rights Assigment", scroll down and you will see
"Logon as a Service". Open it and click on "Add User or Group". Type in the
user and click apply. This will then allow zenoss to login and use the
different services. If this isn't a Domain Controller. Go to Administrative
Tools, click on "Local Security Policy", and follow the same steps as above. I
hope this helps out because I was having the same problem but now everything is
working fine. Oh I almost forgot one last thing, go to Computer Management and
open it, then expand Services and applications, right click on WMI Control,
click properties. Then click on the "Security" tab, then clikc on Security
again. Add the user, and I just checked all the boxes. Apply and close
. This should take care of your problems.
