Hi, I'm rather new to Zenoss so bear with me. I've searched the forum, howtos and faqs for an answer but there is one thing that I don't understand.
This is what I'm trying to accomplish: polling switches to see if there is link on the ports. As I understand the standard procedure is to create Events that translate what is happening in my Extreme Summit switch so that I get an alarm in Zenoss. Could someone please just point me towards a guide or something that tells me how to do this? Or give me some pointers what I should look for.
