I have this rule setup almost exactly the same as an email alert rule, yet the pages come every minute and the emails properly come every 5 minutes.
Is the repeat time setting not working for pages for any particular reason? Here is the working email alert rule: Delay (secs) - 120 Action - Email Send clear messages - True Enabled - True Address (optional) - <blank> Repeat Time (secs) - 600 Production State = Production Severity >= Error Event State = New Here is the apparently broken pager alert rule: Delay (secs) - 180 Action - Page Send clear messages - True Enabled - True Address (optional) - <blank> Repeat Time (secs) - 600 Production State = Production Severity >= Error Event State = New So I triggered a critical event, and 2 minutes later I got an email alert, all good so far. 3 minutes after the first event I got a page, so far so good. Then the problem starts. At this point I now get paged every minute, even though the repeat time is set to 600. What is strange though is that I do get a second email alert at around the 600 second mark.
