my zencommand daemon appears to need a little love. I have cut down the checks
since it was starting to get really bad with the defunct processes. Currently
I am running 86 commands, and am still getting timeouts in Zenoss. I do see
the data come back in a tcpdump, and it comes back very quickly (they are just
DNS querries) Some are getting back in as little as 16 ms. It almost seems
that the more nagios commands I use the worse it gets. I am running 3 with
only a single return VAR, and the check_http which has 2 return VAR's.

Can anyone tell me just how robust zencommand really is?

Will it EVER kill its dead children? (sounds awful to ask it like that)
How many checks are reasonable?
Should I put a usleep delay in my commands to slow them down for Zenoss?

currently I have changed the conf file to commandTimeout 6, and changed the
zencommand.py to a max of 512 connections with no relief.
