hostname.domain.com threshold of CPU Utilization not met: current
value 0.00
Any idea how to resolve this "critical" error. I have seen it in
all version of Zenoss I have tried. I am currently running 2.1
The template that contains this CPU Utilization threshold can be
found at /Devices/Server. It is in the Device template. The threshold
is setup to trip if the CPU idle goes below 2. This equates to 98%
CPU utilization.
Some Linux systems have a bug in their SNMP agent (Net-SNMP) that
causes the CPU idle counter to stop increasing once it reaches the
32bit maximum value instead of rolling over. This causes the value to
stay at 0 on devices that have been up for a long time.
One way to solve this would be to remove the threshold.
